About Report Craft
Report Craft (reportcraft.com.au) turns your clients' accounting ledgers into the statutory report set your firm signs off - and rolls any number of them into one consolidated group. It reads the chart of accounts and up to five financial years of trial balance, so nothing is re-keyed and the figures reconcile because they are the ledger's own.
The whole pack, not just a report
Every report a client pack may contain is built in. Pick the ones you need, set the order they print in, and the lot bundles into a single print-ready PDF with headers, footers and page numbers.
Consolidation without the spreadsheet
Roll any number of organisations, trusts or branches into one group set of accounts. Map each ledger's chart of accounts to a single group chart once and it is remembered; post elimination entries to strip out intercompany loans, sales and investments so the group statements show external activity only.
A group can mix Xero organisations with QuickBooks companies, which matters when a client's entities are split across both. Consolidations are not counted as client ledgers, so they cost nothing.
Craft the pack once, reuse it every year
The firm decides what a finished pack looks like, not the software. Set it up once and every client gets the same house style.
Set it on a schedule and stop logging in
A standing instruction emails a ledger's PDF pack monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly. The ledger refreshes, the pack builds, and the PDF arrives in the inbox you nominate - nobody has to open Report Craft for it to happen.
Behind that, a nightly sweep refreshes every connected ledger that has not already synced that day, so the first person in each morning never waits on a sync. Consolidations are rebuilt from their member ledgers as it goes.
What we read, and what we write
Report Craft connects through each provider's official OAuth connection, so no accounting password is ever entered here. We ask for the narrowest set of permissions that the features actually use, and nothing "in case".
What we read
The organisation record, the chart of accounts, and up to five financial years of trial balance and Profit & Loss. Nothing else - no contacts, invoices, bills, payments, payroll, assets or projects.
What we write
Only the chart of accounts, and only when you edit it: rename or recode an account here and the change is pushed back so the two charts never drift apart. Elimination entries are ours and stay ours - they are applied to the figures we hold and never written back to your ledger.
Optional AI commentary
Any report can carry a plain-English health check and recommendations, generated under your firm's own API key. Your clients' figures are never used to train a model - there is no model of ours.
Australian reporting, out of the box
A 1 July - 30 June financial year and Australian company tax rates, with no configuration. A ledger kept in another currency is flagged on screen and on every report it prints, rather than quietly presented as Australian dollars.
Who it is for
Accounting firms, bookkeepers and tax and business advisory practices - and anyone carrying more than one ledger: franchise and property groups, not-for-profits, and owners of several entities.
Who builds it
Report Craft is built and operated in Australia by Digitech Corporation. We serve accounting and bookkeeping firms across Australia and support the Australian financial year natively.
Not to be confused with
Report Craft for accounting firms lives at reportcraft.com.au. It is a distinct product from other similarly named tools (such as the US reporting product at reportcraft.io). If you are looking for consolidated Xero or QuickBooks reporting for an accounting practice, you are in the right place.
